New Delhi, February 16 A fire broke out at a plastic bag manufacturing factory in Shahzada Bagh, Delhi, on Monday, according to the Delhi Fire Services.

Eight fire tenders were rushed to the scene after a call reporting the blaze was received at 11:37 am, an official of the Delhi Fire Services (DFS) said.

The firefighters are still working to extinguish the flames, he added, noting that no one was injured in the incident.

"The operation is still ongoing. More vehicles will be deployed if needed," the official said.

Residents reported seeing smoke from the fire, which caused concern among those living nearby.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, the DFS official said.
