
February 14, New Delhi – India concluded their Asian Shooting Championships campaign in New Delhi with seven medals on the final day, bringing their overall tally in the senior section to 33.
Amanpreet Singh led the charge with a gold in the 25-metre pistol event, while his compatriots Gurpreet Singh and Ankur Goel secured a podium sweep for India in the individual event.
The trio also won team gold ahead of Vietnam.
In the women's 50-metre rifle prone event, Sift Kaur Samra secured silver.
Yelizaveta Bezrukova of Kazakhstan won gold, while India's Tejaswini Sawant won bronze.
India also won gold in the women's 50m rifle prone team event.
