Indian playback singer Shreya Ghoshal revealed on Saturday that her official account on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) has been compromised since February 13. The renowned artist issued a warning to her followers, urging them to refrain from clicking on any suspicious links or messages shared from her profile.

Taking to her official Instagram handle, Ghoshal explained her predicament and frustration over unsuccessful attempts to restore her hacked account.

"Hello fans and friends. My Twitter / X account is hacked since February 13th. I have tried everything in my capacity to reach out to the X team. But there has been no response beyond a few auto-generated responses," the 40-year-old singer shared.
She further mentioned the limitations she's currently facing, stating that she is unable to delete her compromised account due to lack of access. Ghoshal specifically cautioned her fans, stating clearly:

"Please don’t click on any link or believe any message written from that account. They are all spams and phishing links. I will update personally through a video if the account is recovered and is safe."
Ghoshal's announcement comes after a similar hacking incident earlier this year involving Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker, whose X account was eventually restored after being compromised.

Fans of Shreya Ghoshal are advised to rely exclusively on updates shared via her verified Instagram page until the matter is resolved.
