New Delhi, Feb 3 (PTI): Silver prices witnessed an uptick on Monday, climbing ₹236 to settle at ₹93,450 per kilogram on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as traders expanded their positions.
The silver contracts for March delivery recorded a 0.25% rise to ₹93,450 per kg in a trading volume of 23,545 lots, indicating fresh interest among market participants, analysts noted.
Despite the domestic rise, global silver prices were under pressure, declining 0.58% to trade at $31.12 per ounce in New York. Experts suggest that while local sentiment remains bullish due to fresh position buildups, international trends are experiencing a dip.
