Silver Prices Surge by Rs 532, Closing at Rs 94,860 per Kilogram

New Delhi, March 3, 2025: Silver prices witnessed a significant rise on Monday, gaining Rs 532 to reach Rs 94,860 per kilogram. This surge was attributed to increased participation in the market, with traders building fresh positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for May delivery saw an uptick of Rs 532, or 0.56%, settling at Rs 94,860 per kilogram. The surge came as a result of a substantial business turnover, with 19,759 lots traded throughout the day.

Market analysts highlighted that the increase in silver prices was primarily driven by the fresh positions taken by market participants, further fueling demand for the metal.

In global markets, silver prices also saw positive movement, rising by 0.24% to trade at USD 31.22 per ounce in New York.

This upward trend reflects growing market interest and investor optimism surrounding silver as a valuable asset.
