Simpliwork Offices rents 1.5 lakh sq ft workspace in Bengaluru to expand biz

New Delhi, February 4 (PTI) – Simpliwork Offices has significantly expanded its footprint by leasing 1.5 lakh square feet of premium office space in Bengaluru, reflecting the growing demand for flexible workspaces in the country.

In an official statement, the company revealed that the new office space was acquired from the Embassy REIT portfolio, marking a significant milestone in its expansion strategy.

Kunal Walia, CEO and founder of Simpliwork Offices, commented on the shift in the industry, stating, "The flexible workspace industry in India is at an inflection point, transitioning from being a disruptor to becoming an integral part of the real estate ecosystem." He further highlighted the increasing demand for high-quality, technology-driven office spaces as hybrid work models continue to gain popularity.

“As hybrid work models gain momentum, the demand for Grade A, tech-enabled, and strategically located office spaces continues to rise,” Walia added.

The company also shared that it expects to close this fiscal year with a revenue range of Rs 850-900 crore, marking a healthy increase from Rs 780 crore the previous year.

Founded in 2018, Simpliwork Offices has quickly expanded its portfolio, now covering over 4.2 million square feet across key Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Gurugram, Noida, Pune, Chennai, and Kolkata. With over 85 centers currently in operation nationwide, the company is positioning itself as a key player in the flexible workspace sector.

This expansion comes at a time when businesses are increasingly seeking flexible office solutions to accommodate hybrid and remote working arrangements.
