Sitapur Horror: Five-Year-Old Girl’s Mutilated Body Found, Murder Confirmed

Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh – March 2: In a shocking and gruesome incident, the mutilated body of a five-year-old girl was discovered in fields near a police station in Sitapur. Authorities have confirmed that the child was strangled to death, dispelling initial suspicions of a wild animal attack.

Missing Since February 25

According to police reports, the girl went missing on the evening of February 25. The following day, a severed leg was found in a field, raising fears of a possible animal attack. However, the victim’s family suspected foul play and urged law enforcement to treat the case as a homicide.

Drone Surveillance Leads to Gruesome Discovery

Responding to the family's concerns, authorities intensified the search operation. On February 27, drone surveillance led to the discovery of more body parts scattered across nearby fields. These included another severed leg and the upper torso from chest to head. A forensic team was deployed to collect evidence, and the remains were sent for post-mortem examination.

Post-Mortem Confirms Murder

The forensic examination revealed that the child had been strangled to death, confirming the family’s worst fears. Following this revelation, police ramped up the investigation, questioning multiple suspects. As of now, three individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.

Authorities Assure Swift Action

Local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Gyan Tiwari, along with State Women Commission member Priyanka Maurya, visited the grieving family. They assured them of a swift and stringent response against those responsible for the horrific crime.
