Bhopal, March 3: In a significant boost to Madhya Pradesh's industrial growth, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Monday that South Korea's ECDS Group is keen on investing in diverse sectors such as medical equipment, renewable energy, and aviation semiconductors. This investment interest comes in response to the favorable industrial environment created by the state government.
During a detailed interaction with Chief Minister Yadav, a delegation comprising investors and researchers from the ECDS Group discussed their ambitious plans, which include establishing a specialized research and manufacturing unit at the Medical Device Park in Ujjain.
The planned facility will focus primarily on producing advanced diagnostic kits capable of detecting early-stage cancer through simple urine tests. This innovative approach will significantly improve early diagnosis and facilitate immediate treatment, potentially transforming cancer care in the state.
Besides healthcare, the ECDS Group also expressed enthusiasm about investing in Madhya Pradesh’s aviation semiconductor industry. Moreover, the South Korean conglomerate showed readiness to collaborate in skill enhancement by sharing technological expertise and providing training opportunities for local talent.
The meeting was attended by high-ranking representatives from the ECDS Group, alongside senior state officials including Chief Secretary Anurag Jain and Principal Secretary of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Raghvendra Kumar Singh.
