
New Delhi, February 11 Guar gum prices rose by ₹13 to ₹10,218 per quintal in futures trading on Wednesday, as speculators increased their holdings due to strong demand in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for March delivery traded higher by ₹13 or 0.13% at ₹10,218 per quintal, with an open interest of 49,975 lots.
Analysts said that traders increased their positions after observing a strong trend in the physical market, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
