February 11, New Delhi — The sacred relics of Lord Buddha, the Devnimori relics, which were venerated for seven days at the historic Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo, Sri Lanka, have been brought back to India in a deeply spiritual and culturally significant journey. For seven days, thousands of devotees in Colombo paid homage to the relics with discipline, devotion, and faith, creating an atmosphere of peace, meditation, and compassion. Following the week-long veneration, a high-level Indian delegation brought the sacred relics to India with full respect on a special aircraft provided by the Government of India. The delegation included the Governor of Madhya Pradesh and the Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, along with other dignitaries.
