Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Secures ₹1,470 Crore in Green Energy Projects

New Delhi, April 1 – Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has announced the acquisition of three significant green energy projects in India, with a combined estimated value of ₹1,470 crore.

Hybrid Wind-Solar Project in Rajasthan Marks New Milestone​

The company received a Letter of Award (LoA) for a wind-solar hybrid project in Rajasthan, ranging between 69.3 MW to 75 MW. This venture marks SWREL's entry into the wind EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) segment, expanding its portfolio beyond solar energy.

Lowest Bidder for 260 MW Solar Plant in Gujarat​

In Gujarat, SWREL has emerged as the lowest bidder for a turnkey solar project with a capacity of 260 MW. The project highlights the company’s growing competitiveness in large-scale solar EPC tenders.

Additional PV Plant Contract in Rajasthan​

Further strengthening its presence in Rajasthan, SWREL has also received a separate LoA for the construction of a photovoltaic (PV) solar plant in the state.
