The event, titled "Discover Your Country," saw prizes awarded to the winning students from participating schools. The first prize was ₹10,000, the second prize was ₹7,000, and the third prize was ₹3,000. Special guest, Roshan M. Thomas, Director of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, also addressed the students. Venkatesh Dattatreya, Director, Southern Region, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and Roshan M. Thomas, also presented the prizes to the students.

Speaking at the event, Venkatesh Dattatreya said, "This event was organized with the aim of raising awareness among students about the opportunities available in the tourism and medical sectors. There were also stalls set up by various organizations showcasing the different career options available in these fields. A total of 600 students participated in the event, which included competitions such as fireless cooking, cake decoration, painting, and quiz competitions. The event also featured the distribution of brochures titled "Dekho Apna Desh" to the students.

Roshan M. Thomas, Director, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, said, "This initiative was planned by the Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Prime Minister's Office. The main objective was to raise awareness among students about the rich culture and heritage of our country and to encourage them to become brand ambassadors for our tourism sector. This event was attended by over 500,000 students from across the country. The Ministry also partnered with 24 autonomous institutions under the Ministry of Tourism to provide quality education in hospitality and tourism management. This event provided a valuable learning experience for the students and their parents.
