Mumbai, February 16: Actor-comedian Sunil Grover had a chance encounter with playback singer Harshdeep Kaur at the airport, and the two found a way to communicate despite the glass barrier.
On Monday, the playback singer posted a video on Instagram's Stories, showing herself talking to the actor through text messages, as the soundproof barrier prevented them from hearing each other.
She wrote on the video, "Nothing can stop Punjabis from having a chat."
Earlier, Sunil Grover had won hearts on social media by showcasing his down-to-earth nature. The actor shared a video on his social media account, where he was seen sitting on the floor and making rotis (Indian flatbread) on a traditional 'chulha' (wood-fired stove or clay stove) like a professional. In the video, Sunil Grover is seen kneading the dough, shaping it into perfectly round rotis, and roasting them directly over the open flame of the chulha.
Many fans in the comments section praised Sunil for his impressive roti-making skills, especially on a traditional chulha.
Sharing the video, Sunil Grover wrote, "Friends, enjoy your rotis." The actor, known for his excellent acting and mimicry skills, has a sharp sense of humor, which is evident in his social media posts. For example, he had wished Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on his 61st birthday with a humorous caption.
He wrote, "Thank you all for your wishes. Today, it's not 30-30, it's just 60. Cheers!" – a mark of his signature wit. Another funny caption read, "Remember, you're never alone, there's always a videographer."
Another post included the line, "When Munna sleeps in India, it's daytime in America." Sunil wrote this along with a picture of himself in the US. On the work front, Sunil Grover is currently starring in "The Great Indian Kapil Show," which streams on Netflix.
