Mumbai, February 4 (PTI) – India's T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav and all-rounder Shivam Dube have been included in Mumbai's 18-member squad for their Ranji Trophy quarterfinal clash against Haryana, scheduled to begin on February 8 in Rohtak.
Both players recently featured in India’s five-match T20I series against England, which the hosts dominated with a 4-1 victory. They have also played one game each in Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy campaign this season, as the team looks to defend its 42-time championship title.
Mumbai's Road to the Knockouts
Mumbai secured their spot in the quarterfinals with a commanding innings and 456-run victory over Meghalaya. Alongside Mumbai, Jammu and Kashmir advanced to the knockout stage from Elite Group A.Suryakumar previously played in Mumbai's match against Maharashtra in October, while Dube was part of a star-studded squad—featuring India captain Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal—that suffered a shock defeat to J&K last month.
Their upcoming opponents, Haryana, topped Group C in the league stage. The two sides will face off at the Chaudhary Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium in Lahli.
