Suzlon Group, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, announced on Tuesday that it has secured a significant order from Jindal Renewables to develop a 204.75 MW wind energy project in Tamil Nadu.
The wind energy project is set to be executed in the Karur region of Tamil Nadu, a state that has consistently led India's wind energy sector.

Suzlon’s Expansion with Jindal Renewables
The latest order was awarded by Jindal Green Wind 1 Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Jindal Renewables. Under the agreement, Suzlon will deliver 65 units of its advanced S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. These turbines will utilize Hybrid Lattice Towers (HLT), renowned for improved efficiency and sustainability.The wind energy project is set to be executed in the Karur region of Tamil Nadu, a state that has consistently led India's wind energy sector.
Strengthening Suzlon’s Commercial & Industrial Portfolio
This partnership marks Suzlon's largest Commercial & Industrial (C&I) order to date, raising its cumulative capacity with Jindal Renewables to an impressive 907.20 MW. Previously, Suzlon delivered two significant orders totalling 702.45 MW for Jindal Steel’s facilities in Chhattisgarh and Odisha.Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman of Suzlon Group, highlighted the project's significance, stating,

Driving Sustainable Industrial Growth
The generated renewable energy will serve captive consumption at Jindal Steel’s manufacturing plants in Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
