Chennai, February 10 Kesava Vinayakan, the general secretary (organization) of the Tamil Nadu BJP, has been relieved of his duties within the party, and will return to his parent organization, the RSS, announced on Tuesday.
Vinayakan had served the state unit of the BJP for nearly 11 years.
He has been assigned the responsibility of "satbhav" (community goodwill) within the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and has also been appointed as a state executive member of the northern Tamil Nadu RSS, according to a statement here.
