A seven-member team, including Election Commissioners Bhanu Prakash, Maneesh Kumar, and Pawan Kumar Sharma, arrived in Chennai via Air India passengers' flight from Delhi, to oversee preparations for the legislative assembly elections in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
They then traveled from Chennai airport to Puducherry by car.
