Chennai, April 5 — Tamil Nadu has emerged as the fastest-growing state in India, recording a remarkable 9.69% growth, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced on Saturday.

Highlighting this milestone, the Chief Minister emphasized that the state's success is not just in numbers, but in its commitment to inclusive growth, gender equality, and balanced regional development.

“Driven by sound fundamentals, steady governance and a clear strategic vision, our Dravidian Model is shaping the future of our State and people,” Stalin said in a post on social media platform X.
The Chief Minister also reaffirmed the state’s ambitious economic target, stating, “We are powering ahead on our pursuit of a $1 trillion economy with vigour and determination!”

This announcement underlines Tamil Nadu’s strong economic trajectory and its focus on equitable progress across all sectors and communities.
