The electronics sector has welcomed the Interim Trade Agreement reached between India and the United States of America. Speaking to Akashvani News, Vice Chairman of the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council, Rajesh M Revankar, stated that the agreement will provide a significant opportunity for the electronics sector. He added that the reduction in tariffs will be beneficial for multiple business sectors within the country. Mr. Revankar also emphasized that, given India's lower tariff rates compared to other countries, it will provide greater market access for the country's electronics sector.
