Nagpur, Feb 3 (PTI) – A shocking incident unfolded in Maharashtra’s Nagpur district as a school teacher was arrested for allegedly secretly filming women using a toilet at a cultural center in Sitabuldi.
The accused, identified as Mangesh Khapre (38), a resident of Itwari, was caught in the act on January 31, police officials confirmed on Monday.
According to authorities, one of the women noticed Khapre filming through a toilet window and immediately raised an alarm. Bystanders at the scene apprehended him and handed him over to the police.
Upon investigation, officers discovered 20 objectionable videos on his mobile phone. Furthermore, officials revealed that Khapre had been involved in a similar incident during an event last year.
The police have registered a case, and further inquiries are underway.
