The victim, identified as Yashwant alias Golu, was a Class 10 student. He was bathing in a well located outside his house when he accidentally slipped and fell into the water. The well, reportedly 40 to 50 feet deep, was filled with water at the time of the mishap.
Family members and local residents immediately rushed to his aid and took him to the Community Health Center (CHC) in Muskra. However, doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival, confirmed Muskra Station House Officer (SHO) Yogesh Kumar.
Police have taken custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem examination to ascertain further details regarding the incident. The tragic accident has left the local community in shock.
