Terror Hideout Found, Public Cooperation Sought in J&K's Doda District.webp

In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have increased anti-terror measures in the Doda district by placing posters of the active terror commander, Saifullah, at key locations to solicit public cooperation. An Akashvani Jammu correspondent reports that the posters feature a Pakistani commander of the banned outfit, Jaish-e-Mohammad, and have been displayed at prominent public places across the district as part of efforts to track down active militants and dismantle terror networks. Separately, security forces have uncovered a terror hideout in the Chilli forest area of Gandoh. During the operation, food and blankets were recovered, indicating recent activity in the area. Following the recovery, intensified search operations have been carried out in the surrounding forest areas to locate any remaining suspects. SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, stated that the initiative aims to curb terrorist activities and enhance public participation in maintaining security. He urged citizens to share any credible information with the police, assuring complete confidentiality and protection of informants. The intensified measures reflect a coordinated effort by the police and security agencies to strengthen vigilance and ensure peace in the region.
