THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, May 15 – Adani Airport Holdings Ltd, which operates the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, announced a 10% year-on-year growth in passenger traffic for FY25, driven by infrastructure upgrades and expanded connectivity.
FY25 Passenger and Aircraft Movement Highlights
Between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025, the airport handled 4,890,452 passengers, up from 4,411,235 in the previous financial year. The company credited this growth to rising demand from Kerala and Tamil Nadu and ongoing modernization efforts at the airport.The airport also set new benchmarks in traffic movement, recording its highest-ever daily passenger count on December 22, 2024, with 16,578 passengers and 101 air traffic movements (ATMs). This surpassed the earlier high on January 29, which saw 15,193 passengers and 95 ATMs.
Daily Operational Statistics and Connectivity
Currently, Thiruvananthapuram Airport averages:- 14,614 passengers per day
- 86 daily ATMs, including charter services
Infrastructure & Technological Advancements
Adani Airport Holdings cited a 6% increase in ATMs as a direct result of its infrastructure enhancements and strategic investments.
