Devotees Gather on East Coast Road for Grand Rituals and Festivities

Chennai, May 12—The ISKCON temple on East Coast Road witnessed a massive turnout on Sunday as thousands of devotees came together to celebrate Narasimha Chaturdasi, one of the most significant festivals in the Vaishnavite tradition.

According to an official release, the celebration was marked by divine rituals and devotional activities, drawing crowds from across the city and beyond. The temple premises were vibrant with spiritual fervor as devotees gathered to honor Lord Narasimha, the half-lion, half-man avatar of Lord Vishnu, revered for protecting his devotees from evil.

The festival included traditional pujas, special aartis, and chanting sessions, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere. The temple management ensured smooth arrangements to accommodate the influx of pilgrims and maintain the sanctity of the occasion.

The Narasimha Chaturdasi festival commemorates Lord Narasimha's appearance to protect his ardent devotee Prahlada, symbolizing the victory of faith and righteousness over tyranny and evil.
