Crime Branch Busts Betting Operation in Porvorim During IPL Match
Panaji, April 5 – Goa Police have arrested three individuals for allegedly operating an online betting racket linked to the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket matches.The arrests were made late Friday night after the crime branch conducted a raid at an apartment in the Porvorim locality near Panaji. According to a police spokesperson, the accused were caught red-handed while accepting bets on the IPL match between Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians.
Accused Identified as Telangana Residents
The individuals arrested have been identified as:- Tigulla Shrinivas (39)
- Gaddala Kiran Kumar (37)
- Annathapuram Shravankumar Chary (36)

During the raid, police seized:- Multiple mobile phones
- A laptop
- Gaming accessories
