Muzaffarnagar (UP), May 21 – In a grim sequence of events, three individuals were found dead under separate and unrelated circumstances in different areas of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, officials confirmed on Monday.
Coaching Centre Owner Found Dead in Ganga Canal
The first case involves Anirudh Chaudhary, a 38-year-old coaching centre owner, who has been reported missing since May 5. His body was recovered on Sunday evening from the Ganga canal near Belda village under the Bhopa police station limits.Police suspect that Chaudhary may have died by suicide, allegedly jumping into the canal. The exact cause of death will be confirmed after a post-mortem examination.
Missing Man Discovered in Drain
In a separate incident on the same evening, the body of 35-year-old Sushil Kumar was found in a drain at Saidpur Nagla village, which falls under the jurisdiction of Charthawal police station.Charthawal Station House Officer Jasvir Singh stated that Kumar attended a wedding on Saturday and did not return home. His disappearance led to a search, culminating in the discovery of his body. Investigations into the circumstances of his death are ongoing.
ASHA Worker Found Hanging, Family Alleges Foul Play
The third case pertains to Juli, a 34-year-old ASHA worker whose body was found hanging from the ceiling of her residence in Kuralsi village under Budhana police station limits.According to police, Juli was married to Dr Rajiv since April 2018. Her parents have accused her in-laws of foul play, alleging that she was killed due to not bearing a child. Authorities have taken note of the allegation, and a thorough probe is underway.
Investigation and Post-Mortem Reports Pending
All three bodies have been sent for post-mortem examinations. Police have initiated separate investigations into each case to determine the precise causes of death and whether any foul play was involved.Authorities have urged the public to await official findings before concluding.
