TN CM Stalin turns 72, PM Modi; Governor Ravi greet him

Chennai, March 1: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin marked his 72nd birthday on Saturday, receiving warm wishes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Governor RN Ravi, among others.

As per the party’s long-standing tradition, Stalin paid homage at the memorials of Dravidian stalwarts C N Annadurai and M Karunanidhi in Chennai. Commemorating the occasion, he also inaugurated admissions at the Royappettai government school, reinforcing his commitment to education.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings via a post on ‘X’, stating, "Birthday greetings to Tamil Nadu CM Thiru MK Stalin. May he lead a long and healthy life." Meanwhile, Governor RN Ravi conveyed his wishes in Tamil, acknowledging the Chief Minister’s leadership and contributions to the state.

The celebrations saw party members and supporters gathering to honor Stalin, highlighting his role in shaping Tamil Nadu’s political and developmental landscape.
