New Delhi, May 17 — Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise has sent a heartfelt message to his Indian fans, expressing his admiration for the country's culture and cinema, while also revealing his dream of making a Bollywood-style film filled with music and dance.

Cruise, 62, appeared in a promotional video by Paramount Pictures India to mark the release of his latest action-packed blockbuster Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which hit Indian theatres on Saturday. The film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie and is the eighth installment in the globally popular Mission: Impossible franchise.

While interacting with actor and influencer Avneet Kaur, Cruise spoke directly to Indian audiences in Hindi, saying, "Main aap sab se bahut pyaar karta hoon" (I love you all very much).

Cherished Memories of India​

The Hollywood icon fondly recalled his 2011 visit to India during the Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol promotions, which featured Bollywood star Anil Kapoor in a cameo role.

"I feel so much love for India. India is an amazing country, people, and culture," Cruise said. "Every moment is etched in my memory—from the time I landed, visiting the Taj Mahal, to spending time in Mumbai—I remember it all vividly."

Bollywood on His Mind​

Cruise didn’t hold back his enthusiasm for Indian cinema, expressing his admiration for Bollywood’s unique storytelling style.

"I love it when someone suddenly breaks into a song in a scene. It's beautiful," he said. "I’ve grown up watching musicals from around the world, and Bollywood movies are so full of energy. I love the dancing, the singing, the acting—such craftsmanship!"

The star also shared his aspirations of participating in the Indian film industry. “I would love to make a Bollywood-style movie. It would be so much fun and amazing. I cannot wait to go back to India. I have so many friends there and have met incredible people."

A Final Reckoning with a Hindi Twist​

As a parting gesture, Avneet Kaur asked Cruise to recite a key line from Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning in Hindi. The actor obliged, saying, "Mujh par bharosa karo, ek aakhri baar" (Trust me, one last time).

Multilingual Release in India​

Mission: Impossible—The Final Reckoning features an ensemble cast including Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Esai Morales, Angela Bassett, Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, and Pom Klementieff. Cruise co-produced the film, which was released in India in multiple languages—English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu—expanding its reach to a wider audience.

Cruise’s message and enthusiasm for Indian cinema have delighted fans, igniting hopes of seeing the global star in a Bollywood avatar.
