Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the emergency aircraft landing facility in Moran on Saturday. In preparation for the event, the Dibrugarh Municipal Corporation has issued a notice to temporarily close roadside markets under its jurisdiction to prevent traffic congestion. The administration stated that this decision was taken to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles and the general public.
The Dibrugarh district administration has also advised students traveling from nearby towns to appear for the GATE examination to use alternative routes while commuting to and from Moran on that day.
