Mau, Uttar Pradesh, May 11 – In a heartbreaking incident in Belauja village, two young boys lost their lives when a dilapidated wall collapsed on them while they were playing near it on Sunday. According to local authorities, the victims were identified as Shivam, 13, and Arun, 10, both residents of Belauja village.

The tragedy occurred when the children, playing near an old, abandoned building, were struck by the crumbling wall. The structure, which had been vacant for several years, was in a dilapidated condition, making it a hazardous site for anyone in the vicinity. As several children had gathered to play near the building, the weakened wall suddenly gave way, resulting in the fatal incident.Authorities Respond to the Incident
Satyapriya Singh, the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Mau, confirmed the details of the incident, expressing condolences for the tragic loss of the two young lives. Following the incident, the ADM emphasized that the local administration has launched a comprehensive drive to identify and address similar hazardous buildings across the district to prevent such occurrences in the future.This unfortunate event has brought attention to the risks posed by neglected structures in the area, prompting officials to take immediate action for public safety.
