New Delhi, Feb 27: Transrail Lighting Limited has secured a significant order worth ₹2,752 crore in the power transmission and distribution sector, further solidifying its position in the industry.
With this latest contract, the company’s order book has surged to ₹7,400 crore, marking a significant expansion in its project portfolio, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the development, Randeep Narang, MD & CEO of Transrail Lighting, stated, “With this addition, our year-to-date (YTD) order inflows have crossed ₹7,400 crore, reflecting a 90% growth compared to last year. This further strengthens our industry standing.”
Mumbai-based Transrail Lighting Limited is a key EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) player in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) segment. The company also operates in the Civil, Railways, and Poles & Lighting sectors, with an international footprint across 58 countries.
A publicly listed entity on the BSE, Transrail has successfully executed over 200 projects in the power transmission and distribution sector. It boasts robust execution capabilities, including manpower deployment and material supply, focusing on in-house manufacturing.
This latest order highlights Transrail’s growing influence in the power infrastructure sector and its ability to secure large-scale contracts in India and abroad.
