Palghar, March 4: A major accident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway in Maharashtra’s Palghar district when a truck and a trailer collided and subsequently burst into flames. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, according to the district rural police.
The incident took place at 12:15 AM on the Vaitarna river bridge in Durvesh village, when both vehicles, loaded with goods, crashed into each other. Following the impact, the truck and the trailer caught fire. Acting swiftly, the drivers managed to jump out of their respective vehicles, escaping unhurt.
