TVS Motor Reports 17% Surge in March Sales, FY25 Exports Up 18%

New Delhi, April 1 – TVS Motor Company marked a robust close to the fiscal year with a 17% jump in total sales for March 2025, reaching 4,14,687 units, compared to 3,54,592 units in the same month last year.

Strong Growth in Two-Wheelers and EV Segment​

The company’s two-wheeler sales rose 16% to 4,00,120 units, up from 3,44,446 units in March 2024. Within the domestic market, two-wheeler sales climbed 14%, hitting 2,97,622 units, compared to 2,60,532 units in the year-ago period.

TVS also reported a significant 77% rise in electric vehicle sales, which surged to 26,935 units last month, up from 15,250 units in March 2024—highlighting the company’s accelerating momentum in the EV segment.

Three-Wheeler and Export Sales See Sharp Increases​

Three-wheeler sales witnessed a strong 44% growth, totaling 14,567 units in March 2025, compared to 10,146 unitsin March last year.

On the global front, TVS Motor’s exports rose 23% to 1,13,464 units, up from 91,972 units in March 2024, underlining the brand's growing international footprint.

FY25 Performance: 13% Growth in Total Sales​

For the full financial year 2024–25 (FY25), TVS Motor reported total sales of 47.44 lakh units, a 13% increase over the 41.91 lakh units recorded in FY24.
  • Two-wheeler sales for FY25 stood at 43.3 lakh units, up 12% from 38.51 lakh units in FY24.
  • Three-wheeler sales, however, dipped slightly to 1.35 lakh units in FY25 from 1.46 lakh units in the previous fiscal.

Export Performance in FY25​

Exports grew by a healthy 18% year-on-year, with TVS shipping out 11.95 lakh units in FY25, up from 10.13 lakh units in FY24.

TVS Motor’s consistent performance across domestic, electric, and export segments signals solid momentum going into the new fiscal year.
