Two Arrested for Series of Thefts in Thane, Mumbai, and Navi Mumbai

Thane, February 28: In a significant breakthrough, Thane police have arrested two individuals allegedly involved in multiple thefts across Thane, Mumbai, and Navi Mumbai. The arrests were made on Wednesday by a crime branch team based on a tip-off, senior police inspector Shahuraj Ranavre confirmed.

The accused, identified as Arvind Dinesh Jatav (26) and Sahil Kumar Rameshchandra Jatav (24), are natives of Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Investigations have revealed that the duo was actively involved in thefts within Thane and Navi Mumbai, covering areas under the jurisdiction of Shil Daighar, Kharghar, Panvel Taluka, and Koparkhairne police stations.

Authorities have recovered various stolen items, including bags, documents, and specialized equipment used in the crimes. The police are continuing their investigation to uncover further links and recover additional stolen property.
