Tragic Incident in Amarpura Village Claims Lives of Two Boys
Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh, May 18 — In a heartbreaking incident, two young boys lost their lives after drowning in a pond in Amarpura village, located in the Shamshabad police station area of Vidisha district. The tragedy occurred on Saturday evening, about 50 km from the district headquarters.According to Shamshabad police station in-charge Virendra Kumar, the victims, identified as Kartik Yadav (14) and Aryan Shakya (12), had gone to an orchard outside the village to pluck mangoes. While there, they decided to take a dip in a nearby pond.
Unfortunately, the boys ventured into deep water and drowned. Authorities have confirmed that a case has been registered in connection with the incident.
The local community has been left in shock as the families of the victims mourn their untimely loss.
