Thane, March 6: Two individuals sustained injuries after nitrogen cylinders exploded during a fire at a warehouse complex in Bhiwandi's Mankoli area on Thursday night.
According to Yasin Tadvi, Chief of the Disaster Management Cell, Thane Municipal Corporation, the blaze erupted late in the evening within the warehouse facility, subsequently causing nitrogen cylinders stored inside to explode.
The injured individuals have been identified as Sashikant Pal and Suraj Girkar. Both were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, and firefighters managed to control and extinguish the flames. Authorities are now investigating the exact cause of the fire.
