The DCP stated that the injured were first taken to Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar, and later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for advanced treatment.

The 'Khara' gang has a history of criminal activity across Bhubaneswar, Puri, and other parts of Odisha. “Just 13 to 14 days ago, the gang snatched six gold chains in Bhubaneswar while using a stolen bike,” said Meena.
