Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh | March 3, 2025: Two young men tragically lost their lives after their motorcycle collided with a tree in the Ramnagar area of Barabanki district late Sunday night, police officials confirmed on Monday.
According to Ramnagar Police Station in-charge Ajay Kumar Tripathi, the victims have been identified as Kundan (24) and Kaliram (23). Both were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony in the village of Sihali when the accident occurred.
"The accident took place late on Sunday night, and both individuals succumbed to their injuries immediately at the site," Tripathi said.
Local residents discovered the incident on Monday morning and promptly alerted authorities. Police subsequently arrived at the scene, and the bodies were transported to a nearby hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Investigations into the circumstances leading to the accident are currently underway.
