Police Launch Investigation After Shocking Discovery in Dhurwa Area
Ranchi, May 12 — In a chilling incident, the bodies of two young men were discovered with their throats slit in a deserted area under Dhurwa Police Station limits in Jharkhand's capital on Monday morning, police confirmed.According to Hatia Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Pramod Kumar Mishra, the unidentified victims are believed to be between 20 and 22 years of age. Authorities suspect the murders occurred late Sunday night, and the bodies were later dumped at the isolated location.
"The throats were slit with a sharp object. We have launched an investigation, and efforts are underway to identify the deceased," DSP Mishra said.
The incident has sparked concern among residents and prompted a thorough police probe into the possible motive and identities of those involved. The area where the bodies were found remains cordoned off as forensic teams collect evidence.
