The UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, emphasized the "enormous importance" of India's contributions to the international community and the UN's agenda. He highlighted a "positive mega trend" of developing economies, including India, playing increasingly significant roles globally.
Guterres made these remarks while preparing for his visit to New Delhi to attend the India AI Impact Summit, the first-ever summit on Artificial Intelligence hosted in the Global South.
