UP Warriorz Elect to Bowl First Against Gujarat Giants in Women's Premier League Clash

Lucknow, March 3: UP Warriorz won the toss and chose to field first against Gujarat Giants in their crucial Women's Premier League (WPL) encounter here on Monday.

The UP Warriorz, currently third in the WPL points table, will be aiming to bounce back after suffering an eight-wicket defeat at the hands of Mumbai Indians in their previous game. In a strategic move to strengthen their lineup, UP Warriorz have brought in Georgia Voll and Gouher Sultana, replacing Tahlia McGrath and Saima Thakor.

On the other side, Gujarat Giants, despite securing a victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their last match, remain in the fifth position on the league table. The Giants have decided not to change their playing XI, showing confidence in their winning combination from the last game.
