Chennai, India | January 29, 2025 – VA TECH WABAG ('WABAG'), a leading multinational water technology company, has strengthened its presence in the Middle East region by securing a seven-year Operation & Maintenance (O&M) contract worth approximately USD 14 million (INR 121 crores) for the BAPCO Refining Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Technological Edge

Expansion in Bahrain's Water Management Sector

This new contract further consolidates WABAG's position in Bahrain's O&M sector. The company has managed the 40 MLD Madinat Salman Sewage Treatment Plant in Bahrain since November 2018.
