Vice President under Observation at AIIMS Critical Care Unit
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi early Sunday morning after he complained of uneasiness and chest pain, according to hospital sources.
The 73-year-old Dhankhar was rushed to AIIMS around 2 AM and has since been under the care of a specialized medical team. He has been admitted to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) under the supervision of Dr. Rajiv Narang, Head of the Department of Cardiology at AIIMS.
A hospital source confirmed that Dhankhar's condition remains stable, and he is currently under close observation. A dedicated group of doctors is continuously monitoring his health parameters.
Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda visited AIIMS earlier in the day to enquire about the Vice President's health condition.
