Kolkata, Feb 28: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar visited the renowned Tarapith temple in West Bengal’s Birbhum district on Friday, offering prayers at the revered Shaktpeeth. He was accompanied by his wife, Sudesh Dhankhar.
Expressing his spiritual experience, Dhankhar shared on social media, "Deeply humbled by the divine Darshan of Maa Tara at the sacred Tarapith temple in Birbhum district today. Felt blessed to offer prayers for the progress of Bharat, wellbeing of all our citizens, and universal bliss."
He further added, "The eternal grace of Maa Tara at this revered Shaktpeeth filled me with unmatched spiritual energy and profound reverence. The sanctity of this holy site truly connects us to our timeless cultural heritage and the sacred duty we are all entrusted with. Joy Maa Tara!"
Speaking to journalists after the visit, the Vice President said, "Felt blessed and sought bliss for the entire community. After visiting this sacred place, I am filled with new energy, which will be dedicated to the welfare of mankind."
Tarapith, a significant pilgrimage site, is revered as one of the prominent Shaktpeeths in India, attracting devotees from across the country.
