Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam Faces Policy Questions

Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam Faces Policy Questions.webp

Madurai (Tamil Nadu), February 16 Tamil Nadu BJP chief Nainar Nagenthran on Monday criticized actor-politician Vijay, saying his party lacked a clear policy.

Questioning whether Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam actually had a policy to address the people in the upcoming Assembly election, Nagenthran challenged Vijay to announce the party's policies.

"Does he have a policy? He has only written the word 'policy' on paper. Let him clearly explain his party's policies," the BJP leader told reporters here.

Earlier, AIADMK senior leader and former state minister Dindigul C Srinivasan asked Vijay to contest the Assembly election without invoking the names of AIADMK leaders and former Chief Ministers: M G Ramachandran and J Jayalalithaa.

"If he is relying on his own strength and identity, then he should stop invoking the legacy of our leaders and refrain from displaying their photos, and then contest the election," Srinivasan told reporters.
