New Delhi, May 14, 2025—Vodafone Idea Ltd has launched its high-speed 5G services in Delhi NCR, marking a major milestone in the company’s phased rollout across India. Starting May 15, the national capital region will join Mumbai, Chandigarh, and Patna in receiving the next-generation connectivity under Vi’s 5G network.Key Highlights

Advanced Technology & Network Strategy
The Delhi NCR rollout is backed by a strategic partnership with Ericsson, providing an energy-efficient and lightweight infrastructure. Vodafone Idea has deployed AI-powered Self-Organising Network (SON) technology to further improve performance, alongside a 5G NSA architecture that ensures seamless user transitions between 4G and 5G.This 5G initiative forms part of Vodafone Idea’s ₹55,000 crore capital expenditure plan spread over three years. With increasing user adoption and data consumption in Mumbai, the company is accelerating its rollout across the remaining circles.
