Week-long International Yoga Festival to begin in Rishikesh from Mar 1

Rishikesh, Feb 27: The much-awaited International Yoga Festival is set to take place in Rishikesh from March 1 to 7, bringing together yoga enthusiasts, spiritual seekers, and experts from across the world. The event is being organized jointly by the Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN) and the Uttarakhand tourism department.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will inaugurate the festival at Ganga Resort, as confirmed by GMVN Managing Director Vishal Mishra.

The festival will feature renowned yogacharyas from India and abroad, who will demonstrate various yoga asanas and meditation techniques. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend training sessions led by experts. Alongside yoga and wellness activities, the event will showcase cultural performances and spiritual discourses, offering a holistic experience to visitors.

The International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh is an annual event that attracts thousands of attendees, reinforcing the city’s reputation as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World.’
