Chaibasa, February 12 A man was sentenced to 21 years in prison by a court in the West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand for raping a girl.
The verdict was delivered by the Additional Sessions Judge-II on Wednesday, after the accused was found guilty under Section 6 of the POCSO Act.
The incident took place in July 2020, in the area around the Jagannathpur police station.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 30,000.
