Jaunpur (UP), Feb 28: A sense of panic gripped the Jaunpur Nagar Kotwali area after a woman's body was discovered inside a red suitcase dumped in a drain near JCJ Chauraha, police reported on Friday.
Authorities responded swiftly to the scene upon receiving information about the suspicious find. Upon inspection, they noted a strong foul odor emanating from the suitcase, indicating that the body had been there for several days.
Superintendent of Police Kaustubh stated, "The body has been sent for post-mortem. The deceased appears to be around 35 years old. Efforts are being made to ascertain her identity."
