February 12, Kohima: In cricket, Nagaland defeated Meghalaya by 30 runs in the Senior Women's One-Day Trophy Plate group match played at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack today.
After winning the toss, Meghalaya chose to field.
Nagaland were dismissed for 148, but put up a strong bowling performance to restrict Meghalaya to 118, successfully defending the total.
Nagaland are third in the points table, behind Bihar and Sikkim. They will face Manipur in their final robin-round match on February 14.
